No, Brock's Gap Training Center is a private, member's-only facility. However, weekend matches and training events are open to the public.

The membership year runs from June 1 to May 31. For those joining after June 1, fees will be prorated to reflect the remaining membership period. For example, if you join on December 1, you’ll pay only 50% of the annual fee. The fees are as follows:  

• Annual Membership Fee
  • Legacy Members: Those who join before December 31, 2024, will be designated as Legacy Members and will enjoy a lower annual membership fee of $275, covering range access from June 1 to May 31.
  • Regular Members: Those who join after December 31, 2024, will be classified as Regular Members and will have a higher annual fee compared to Legacy Members. Regular membership fee is $375, covering range access from June 1 to May 31. Access to the 1,400-yard range is an additional $300 per year.

• Range Maintenance Fee (RMF)

BGTC is a volunteer organization and asks all members to work 12 hours a year to help maintain and improve the facilities. Members who do not volunteer the required hours will be assessed a $100 RMF. The RMF will not be assessed, however, until the following membership year. For example, if you join December 1 and you fail to volunteer 12 hours, you will be assessed the $100 RMF in June.

• Assessment Fee

A special $100 assessment fee was approved by the general membership for the period of June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2024. Individuals joining BGTC during this time will incur a prorated fee to reflect the remaining membership period. For example, if you join on December 1, 2024, you’ll pay only 50% of the assessment fee, amounting to $50.

• Application Fee

There is a $150 application fee. This fee, however, is currently being waived until December 31, 2024.

Yes, active membership in the NRA, GOA or 2^nd Amendment Foundation is required for membership at Brock's Gap Training Center. 

Attend any of the monthly matches.  That's the best way to get to know folks, learn about our facility and get the necessary sponsors.  All matches are listed in the Calendar.

We also offer sessions where you can meet a member, demonstrate your firearm proficiency and safety skills. This is not a competition, but it enables us to determine whether you can handle a firearm safely, both for your sake and for the sake of those around you. Go to the events calendar to see when the next session is scheduled.

Yes, once you've been approved you will receive an ID card and a gate card which will allow access to the facility 365-days per year.

Yes, you certainly can.  During the week you can bring up to four shooting guests.  On weekends you can bring two shooting guests.

Not all range projects require physical labor.  Contact the Range Operations Officer or the work-day coordinator for specific projects and they will gladly work with you.

Yes, work opportunities arise quite often outside of official work-days.  Look in the club e-mails, newsletters, or on the website for information as these opportunities arise.  Also, if you have suggestions or ideas for projects, submit them to the Board for consideration.

Always check the website.  Notices are posted on the main page, the Calendar or the Police training schedule.  Sometimes events come up too quickly to post, but this doesn't happen often.
