About this event
The Membership Readiness Orientation (MRO) is the first step to becoming a Brock's Gap member. The orientation will last approximately 1.5 hours.
During the orientation, you will:

- Review BGTC Membership Rules and Expectations
- Tour K, D and H Ranges and discuss range-specific rules
- Demonstrate basic firearm proficiency
Applicants who demonstrate safe and responsible range behavior will be forwarded to the Board of Directors for approval. Once approved, they may continue with the membership application process. Applicants who require additional instruction will be referred to the Chief Training Officer to complete a beginner firearm class before their membership interest is submitted to the Board.
What to Bring to the Orientation:
- Review, and bring a copy of the Range Rules.
- Bring an unloaded and cased firearm (rifle or pistol), empty magazine, small box of ammo, and eye & ear protection. Leave the firearm and ammo in your car until you’re asked to retrieve them.
